African Filter Shrimp and CL's

I picked up a couple of these for $20 each. I was a little worried my clowns would be a problem. 3 months no problems. My six clowns are about 5- 8 inches. The shrimp is about 4 inches.

testing....

Is it possible to have it tested. It may have enough oxidation or gunk covering it that there is no leaching into the water.

Photo Hosting site

Hello,

I haven't posted in a while, and wanted to show some pics of some new additions. Unfortunately my old photo hosting site is no more (photosite.com). Does anyone have any suggestions for a good, user friendly photo hosting site?

My set up

My QT consists of a 12 gallon plastic tank that was a cheapo reproduction of an Eclipse 12. I keep sponges and a bag of ceramic rings in the sump on my main tank. When needed, I pull out the QT tank, fill it with 3/4 water from my main and the rest with treated tap. Set up the Aquaclear mini filter,...

I have 6 clowns. Only some are named. I have named Big Boy, The Supervisor, Big Tail (deceased), The Rock Carrier, Grey Boy. I have a few more but can hardly tell them apart.

My Equipment

Thanks for all the compliments. I use a digital SLR camera with a off the camera flash above the glass. I shoot LOTS of pictures and get a few good ones. I keep my tank at 80F and have never had any problems. I live in northern VA.

They were pre-cooked. Packaged almost like a steak in the USA. Not frozen.Styrofoam package sealed with clear plastic with a label. No preservatives on the label.....just pre-cooked salad shrimp-they are small compared to cocktail shrimp, or prawns.

Thanks for the replies. When feeding the shrimp, I did cut back on the other foods. My water change schedule remained the same--40 gallons every 4 days. My tank is over filtered with a wet/dry pushing 980 gph, and a HOB bio-wheel pushing 350 gph for a 125gallon tank and a lot of live plants. The onl...

Coincidence?

Hi All, I wanted to share this experience. I notice a lot of you feed salad shrimp to your clowns. Well I went ahead and tried it and they love it. I keep mostly clown and bosemani rainbows. I also have a school of rummy nose tetras. After feeding the shrimp every 3 days fro 2 weeks my rainbows deve...
