I'm sorry I have to ask this.....

What is YMWV?

I'm new to forums, so I don't know the language, yet. It took me a long time to figure out that LOL meant "laugh out loud." :) :)

I didn't think about the water flow. Thanks for bringing that up. I'm glad to know that clowns wouldn't harm a kuhli.

Thanks :)

Yeah, I was thinking about how a big clown might slurp up a kuhli. My clowns are about 3" now. I have a 55 gal.

Can clown loaches be kept with kuhli loaches?

Is there any reason that clowns and kuhlis shouldn't be kept together?

Fed my clown loaches an apple today.

Hi, I found a soft apple in the back of the fridge (time to clean the fridge instead of the tank :) ) I peeled the apple, cut it in half, and put a SS fork through it. I dropped it in the tank and all the fish really liked it. Hopefully, there is no reason I shouldn't have done this. I didn't see ap...

Just an update on the kuhlis. Things have not been going too well. The next morning I noticed small ich spots on most of them (thank goodness they are in the QT.) Then within a few hours, two of them died :( . I bought some sick fish, unfortunately. Hopefully, the remaining four will live and recove...

Your tank looks like a loach paradise. Thanks for posting the pics of your lovely loaches. I have scratches on my glass, too, but the fish don't seem to mind at all. :)

Hi, thanks for your reply, Right now, they are just hanging low in the QT. I've dropped in a pellet, but they are being a little shy (to be expected after all the stress of netting and transport, I'm sure.) One of them has me a little concerned. He (or she) was really racing around the tank, breathi...

Hi
Just wanted you all to know that after following this thread, I now have six kuhlis floating in a bag in my QT. You guys made them sound like the perfect additions to my tank. I can't wait to watch them. They are black with yellow stripes.

Thanks

No wonder your sids settled in nicely. You have a neat tank. Also, I'm very jealous of anyone who has 36 sids--I'm trying to find just six. :D
