Yeah Mick they do have the red eyes, though I haven't managed to take any decient pics, I'd definatly recommend you get some, they are expensive though they were 12 pounds if i remenber correctly, worth it though in my opinion one of the most attractive loaches out there. All the other fish thankfully seem to be fine now. The parameter of the tap water is a good match to the tank water kh and gh maybe a degree or two lower, ph is the same.
