If all else fails, contact Pete Mang at petemang54@aol.com. He's an odd duck but has fantastic fish and shipping is excellent.
He's a Vietnam era drug burnout and you may have to contact him several times, but if he tells you he'll ship, you can take it to the bank.

Along with the eight sids and nine kubotai, there ar rainbows, danios and bristlenose catfish. The bristles and rainbows are also breeding. (Good God! If it's in the water.... *eyes spouse suspiciously*) I think one or two people on this board have had gravid sids. Has anyone ever had anything come ...

Somebody please pinch me
I was perusing the 125g today with the sids in it and saw an amazing sight. I hardly dare hope, but I grabbed my camera anyway. What does this look like to you? Could this loach possibly be gravid?? I know it's not a Graeme-type pic, but she's timid and I had to stand well back and use the m...

I used the Jungle product just recently on some wormy rainbows and it worked very well, after soaking it in Garlic Guard first. I don't blame the fish for not eating it - it smells terrible!! I could never get the fish to eat Pepso, either. Funny - I live in California and Pepso is still on the shel...

One thing to note is that the filstar xp1,2,3 series filters are known for having some noise issues and erroneous bubble spewing. If the tank needs to be quiet and eheim filter would be a better choice. I own Filstar filters and can verify that. They are not entirely silent and do have the occasion...

The side-by-side wiggling is similar to my kuhlis when they spawned, aside from the fact that the pangios were zooming around the upper levels of the tank at the time. As I said in the other forum, I think this looks far more like mating behavior than aggression, although I admit I've never witnesse...

If you do decide to euthanize, this method is my preferred method. It causes no distress to the fish that I have ever witnessed.
