I would suggest you buy a KH booster of some sort and follow the instructions on the bottle. You want a KH of atleast 5 to avoid pH sw...

Re: cory cats and botias as well as stocking suggestions

Also, I am also looking for some suggestions on fish to add to the tank. I was thinking some rainbows, but what would you add? If its a 20G long though ( 30" long) you can get away with a couple, like 3ish yellow labs.

I have that on authority from an exceptional malawi source, that 30" is marginally ok for yellow labs in small numbers..

My camera is a Kodak P.O.S (pretty old system ;))

2 Megapixel (which I doubt).. takes 4 seconds to take a picture... no settings whatsoever for ISO or anything... nothing.. less than nothing.. do you want flash? Yes. That's it..

Best clown loach photos I have ever seen in my life hands down.
Sorry you're having problems.

Can I ask what brand and model camera is that? Or is it just superhuman skill?

http://www.loachtank.org//albums/userpics/10140/normal_group2~0.jpg I see at the top you have a weather loach as well.. And some Clown and Yo-Yo loaches and what appears to be a very large goldfish.. Here's the thing though- there are fancy goldfish which keep well at about 79F or so, but that kind...

I wouldn't take what a couple of boobs say about fish on TV seriously. I can catch a largemouth bass and say that infact all largemouth bass originate from the planet's core, where temperatures exceed 6'000 degrees ferenheit and that they can digest carpenter's glue and toothpaste but it wouldn't be...
