I've had a fish rather similar to the last picture sold as Acantocobitis botia I'm not saying your fish is the same, but it might help The fish on the earlier pictures seamed to be rather thin - is it a new import? Pseudogastromyzon fasciatus is distributed in Fujian and Zhejiang Province,the southeast of China. It's the first species of Pseudogastromyzon discovered in China.
