Cleaning hard caked calcification off the tank glass

Hi, my tank has ended up with a lot of that whitish calcification on the glass, I assume from water splashing and dripping down the outside from the external filter I have. It's really hard to get off, so I was wondering if there was a trick to it? Some special cleanser I could use to dissolve or so...

Hi, no, one of the largest. They don't ever hassle each other, if that's what you mean. They all get along very well.
