Clown loach problem

The problem is actual for a friend. His Clown loach just over 5" is starting to look skinny and his eye is really dark black with a pale white ring around the outside of it. What!!!!!!!

But yeah both of those fish are stunning and i've never seen them in the flesh around my area anyway. Most of my LFS only have the common fish that everybody has and they never have anything out of their comfort zone(which is pain). I have to travel to be able to get fish like that.

They do however like the high protein granular food ( I think by JMC again) but I don't seem to be able to buy this at the moment. I also feed mine with this granular stuff. They love it. You can buy this form Bridgemere Water Gardens in Staffordshire, they have loads of the stuff. Its just before ...

Great pics Emma, I'll never get bored of looking at the pics. Does anyone reckon its how you sex the clowns?

PS, what kind of settings do you use to take the pics as i just keep getting flashs backs from the glass?

Cracking pic mate. It'll be nice if mine came out of the cave, never mind eat out of my hand. How big is the clown? he looks a good 8" or so.
