Schistura from Western Thailand??

Hi, I caught this Schistura from Pachy river, in western Thailand. Did the guys told you that when we went to catch the S. balteata the stream was already full of young fry? In my opinion, for all these small fish living in fast stream, the best time for spawning would be the peak of dry season and that would be during this time of the year or a little bit earlier....

Some very interesting behavior of Hampala from this locality. We were taking these shots in a protected part of the river, where a lot of tourist often come to swim. So the fish get used to people and they would follow us around as we swam or walked thus disturb the gravel in hope that we would spla...

ํYes, image was taken under water. Just rocks, gravel, and sand in the stream, and marginal plants, which certainly the Nemacheilus have nothing to do with.

I just wanted to add from Blue's comment : Third, crushed coral, although already dead, is still a part of delicate tropical coral community and ecosystem, by removing it from nature sure effect the balance of the system in some way.
