This first stream is in Surathani Prov.
Nemacheilus ornatus was quite abundant in the stream.
Something really special is this little sand loach.
Schistura cf.
geisleri
How we get the picture of the sand loach.
Homaloptera smithi is ofcourse one of the most common loach anywhere in Thailand.

Amazing Nonn! Thank you so very much for sharing your trips with us. These pictures give me a feeling I cannot describe. Your photography is top notch and as I've said before, your photos have me loving Thailand more and more everyday.
Nonn, could you tell me about your underwater camera case? I have been researching them and plan to buy one for my Canon.

Great pictures Nonn!!
Even though I can't understand a single word on Siamensis.org I always love browsing through it. For a Biologist like me it feels like heaven! Not just the because of the fishes, but all pictures. I've put a lot of loach pictures I found on Siamensis.org in a thread on these boards (
http://forums.loaches.com/viewtopic.php?t=11667 ) I hope you guys don't mind. I made sure to reference to the correct threads.
