Hillstream Loach Tank

Post by Skipper » Sat May 23, 2009 9:15 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on setting up a 20 gallon long as a species tank for some species of Chinese hillstream loach. A local fish shop is working on ordering some for me so that's why I not sure of the species yet. Anyway my question is about current and GPH levels. I have two powerheads pumping at 160 gph connected to a filter setup similar to this.

This turns the tank over around 16 times per hour. For those of you that keep hillstream loaches does this level of current/filtration sound adequate to keep these loaches healthy?
