My new tank and stand

Post by B922 » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:19 pm

hi I have been hanging around in the background for some time. This is my first post to the site.
Have had my loaches for some time now I up graded and moved up in tanks
I just finished my new tank and stand thought I would share some pic hope I get it right
It is a 125 gal tank I built the stand in my shop a lot of work and planning in this one
I am still moving fish in so I don't have a count on them yet
I do have a question on filters, can you have to much, I shut down and moved some smaller tanks with filters, so right now I have
two whisper 30-60 HOB filters at 330 gph each A via-aqua 750 canister filter around 300 gph (this is set up as a bio filter only) a marineland C360 canister filter at 360 gph and a large sponge with a power head 145 gph total is just over 1400 gallons per hour of filtration I know it is way over kill just trying to keep them alive for when I reset the tanks I moved.
