Re: my hillstream tank
Great looking clip, and the gobys seem to be happy there!
But how come no hillstream closeups?

Currently keeping: gastromyzon spp., hypergastromyzon humilis, pseudogastromyzon sp., sewellia spp., ambastaia sidthimunki, homaloptera spp., serpenticobitis octozona, Yaoshania pachychilus. As well as various catfish, loricarids, livebearers and tetras.
Re: my hillstream tank
This is very odd.... I've bred several goby species and this is not how the eggs are placed, they are always below a stone (or cave ceiling) so that the male can service them. The layout on your photos looks like what corydoras and some plecos do... do you have any in the tank?
Re: my hillstream tank
i only got :
rhinogobius
homaloptera smithi
gastromyzons
schistura's ( but they go out , they're to wild )
azian and african rock shrimps

If the eggs are still there please take a focused photo of them... lemme see.
Re: my hillstream tank
First photo looks like snail eggs. My r. duospilus did lay eggs on the glass once. They were quickly eaten.
Re: my hillstream tank
they are already eaten mikev
i put some PVC pipes in the tank hidden , they're exploring them already
but the big male is still in the corner where the ggs had been layed ,

Re: my hillstream tank
Wow! Beautiful tanks and fish! I currently have 1 gastromyzon punctulatus, 2 gastromyzon zebrinus and 2 gobies. They aren't in a hillstream tank but i try to replicate hillstream conditions the best I can!
Also can anyone ID my gobies please?http://imgur.com/WdPoBIP
Ps this isn't a thread hijack!

Re: my hillstream tank
Would be interesting to know if the hillies would use thin branches at all.....
