Moose faced loaches
I picked up a couple of these this weekend. Very excited to get to keep them again, I haven't seen them available in years. I love seeing the moose tracks and watching them feed by sifting through the sand. I put in requests for more so hopefully I will be able to get a group of 5 or 6 and learn enough about them to, eventually coax them to breed. Its a long term goal but one of the ones I got is much thicker than the other and the previous ones I kept so I'm hoping its a female. I'll try to post some pics if I can get any.

That's exciting! I've only seen 1 for sale quite a few years ago. How about some pics?

Nice blog but the site wouldn't let me enlarge the pics enough to see them

Also, I got my moose faced loaches to eat Repashy invetivore mix already, this is very exciting since they are usually quite picky feeders and will only take live foods initially. To have them on a prepared food within 2 weeks of purchase is awesome and bodes well for their long term health in my tank.
