Thanks everyone. I will try to post more images in the near future.

The shrimp is Macrobrachium rosenbergii. The largest fresh water shrimp in the world. Taste good too!!!

They're pretty pricey here in the states.

Thank you Nonn :D Yep, that's what she has :) It was sold to her as a Ghost Shrimp, quickly ate the others, grew and starting hunting fish. She showed me pics of the molt and how big it's gotten and I love the thing :):)

"Shrimpy" is now about 7" :)

Pretty darn cool. While I won't get to see any loaches, I might be going on a fish collecting trip in Uraguay in November and can't wait to see tropical fish in their natural habitat. Maybe I'll get to go to Asia one day.

Hi Nonn , the 2nd pic , the top fish , of which only the caudal and dorsal are visible , is that a red finned Leconte ?
