In theory......

Post by Martin Thoene » Wed Mar 01, 2006 12:24 am

....as it's now a new month, I just won a photo competition on Fishgeeks with this:

Image

It got 19% of the votes out of 41 pictures, 136 votes total. Think it wins me a Fishgeeks T-shirt of my choice. They do a nice Clown Loach one as it happens :) ......even if it does say Botia macracantha on it...... :?

There was a mind-blowing picture of a Silver Dollar male on there which totally should have won IMO....I voted for it.

So new month, new day, new shirt? somebody's Birthday (not mine), and also heard some good news a little while ago :P

Congratulations Martin! (where are those dancing bananas when you need them?!)....It is a beautiful photo, and worthy of winning.

But wait a minute, did you just mention T-shirts with loaches on them? This could get everyone started again!

Yes, someone did. Someone who happens to be very artistic herself actually. Think about it  (If in doubt, use diversionary tactics)

I wouldn't dream of pestering Emma! I don't know her, and she hasn't given me any reason to annoy her. ; )

'course she has! She operates the best darned Loach Shop in the world and it's nowhere near where you live. Just like a T-shirt is nowhere near your back.....or front :?

Now it's official!

I've asked for a lime green T-shirt with a Clown Loach print on the front. You should see me coming in that 8)

I'm sure it's a fabulous loach shop, but you haven't read the poll on the fish forum, have you? ; )

And Martin, it was a lovely picture you took, but I have one that's pretty good, too:

Which poll? Which Forum? You Witch!

Ladies and gentlemen who do not know Demon Yoyoloach should be made aware that she has a long history on this forum. She used to be plain old Yoyoloach until she became posessed.

Should I be upset by this picture? No.....the original version was worse. Can't a guy at least have a strip wash beside a deserted lake in Algonquin where there's no other humans for miles, without his wife creeping up behind him with the camera? Thank goodness for wash-cloths!

At least the picture reminds me that I lost weight, which is cool.

I plan to still be plain old Yoyoloach on this and the fish forum once I contact Jeff to get a registration problem worked out.

Just be glad it wasn't the original in all your (near) nakedness. I may have that on a disk, somewhere..... Would you like me to look? ; )
