Are you using any protection at the U-tube, or can the fish go back and forth between the tanks? How about using the 10 as a high light plant filter? Very cool either way. Very pretty fish.

edit -- sorry, just caught the thing about the fish going through. Why not let them? http://www.bio-elite.com/waterbridge.htm
