Barracuda518, Yulai1006, Zenins and Cider, thanks for the compliments!
Last week i used the moviesection on my photocamera to make an impression of the rio 240 tank, so the quality isn't that good but i think enough to watch the tank and the fish:

Re: Pics from my tanks
Never got tired looking at these awesome pics. The plants are fabulous and the tanks look awesome. The close up pics and details are amazing.
Re: Pics from my tanks
Hi, what's the plant in the right half of the foreground in the first photo? The one with tear-drop-like leaves in the Rekord 60?
Edit: did your Danio erythromicron and D. maragaritatus cross breed? I was thinking that your D. margaritatus had odd colouring on the first page and then noticed the D. erythromicron…

Re: Pics from my tanks
May I ask what form of lighting are you using to grow such robust plants? Perfect!
Re: Pics from my tanks
Thank you all for the compliments!
Kittykat, it's a small staying Echinodorus in the rekord 60 tank, with enough light it will have red leaves.
I've had no cross breed from danio margaritatus and erythromicron, i've had several; young erythromicon fry, but after a few weeks they all dissapeared...eaten up by the rhino's i think...
hooperman, i've two 1047mm 54 watt lamps in the rio 240: a nature and a daylight, in the rekord 60 i've two 15 watt lamps, one daylight and one standart light.

I actually meant the one to the left of it, the stem plants with teardrop leaves, didn't even see the sword!Glenny wrote:Kittykat, it's a small staying Echinodorus in the rekord 60 tank, with enough light it will have red leaves.
Can you remember where the D. margaritatus came from? I'm rather intrigued by the odd patterns…Glenny wrote:I've had no cross breed from danio margaritatus and erythromicron, i've had several; young erythromicon fry, but after a few weeks they all dissapeared...eaten up by the rhino's i think...

Ow Kittykat, i think you mean the Lobelia cardinalis in the rekord 60 tank, a nice plant!
My first Danio margaritatus were bought at my lfs in Amsterdam, januari 2007 and were all wild caught, i've had several breeds over the last 3 years, so the pictures are fish from wild caught danio's.
