Who am I and where can I find some friends?

Bought the last two of these at a fish store about an hour away, they were labelled Burmese Spotted Danios, and I thought they were xyrops, but as they have colored up in the Q-tank, I am wondering if they might be kyathit? Or something else? The woman at the fish store said they started out all spotted, ad had gotten more confluent stripes over the month they were there.

Sorry, these guys move fast and are hard to get good photos of.
(the pistachios are NOT in the tank, BTW)

Not really. I have the spotted morph, but have only seen the striped morph once.
You might check on Aquabid.com once in awhile.

But if they are only color morphs of the same species, it shouldn't matter, right? They aren't going to be all Star-Bellied Sneetch-y about who has stripes and who has spots. I just want them to have some friends to play with. :)
