Garra flavatra-maintenance tips?

Post by natalia » Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:52 am

Over the last half year I acquired four panda garras from my LFS. They usually have one fish mixed in with something else and the staff did not even know what these fishes were. I put them in my community tank where they seem to be doing fine. However I am courious about the proper conditions these fish should be kept. I tried to google, but there is not much info out there except that they come from Burma/ Myanmar.

So, if someone knows please share the following:
1. Optimal water parameters - temp, hardness, flow, plants
2. Best food
3. Is it possible to breed them and if so how
Thanks in advance,
Natalia.
