I'd like to move my flying fox to my clowns tank given the rate of growth! The clown loach are at 81 deg F, the flying fox is at 78 now. Other archives state a max temp of 78 for the ffox. Is this limiting to my plans or does anyone else keep the same fish together at this temp?
Well he's now in.
Seemed scared initially, space fright I think, but when the clowns didn't beat him up and were generally friendly he seemd to calm down in a matter of minutes. Lights out very shortly (they're dimming at the moment) and he should be in for a relaxing night with faster flowing water which should suit him. I'll see how he gets on with the temps

Re: max temp for flying fox
Which flying fox are we talking about? The Crossocheilus or the Epalzeorhynchus kalopterus?

Crossocheilus
He's in the tank and very happy there.
