Hello I am new to the forum have been into fish forever. But my passion is plecos. Will be aquiring 5 L204 Flash plecos soon and was wondering if the river tank would be a good setup for a breeding setup.

All you need to breed plecos is a good filter with UV, a decent sponge filter, Caves, algae and your set. I really dont thing a river thing is neccesary

I like the idea of a river set up for Plecs. Make sure there are some calmer areas, too.
In most species the father will fan the eggs, but all the help he can get with good water movement and plenty of water changes can only help. I am not sure if L204 does this.

Several different species of wood in the tank is probably a good idea. My Panaques really like Oak bark, but I have at least 3 species of wood in there for them.

38 tanks, 2 ponds over 4000 liters of water to keep clean and fresh.

Happy fish keeping!

A pro pleco breeder was breeding them in the hundreds without any river. It might help though
