They are not the best pics of Bruce, but he was way in the back of the tank and I had to zoom in, thus the blurriness. I hope you can at least see the difference in the appearance of the eyes. It is almost like something is covering the eyes.

Nothing positive, except for that Bruce is still with us - skinny and lethargic, but still here. We are still transitioning the 220 into softened water...not sure if that will do anything, but worth a try. The med still hasn't arrived, which I find odd as I have ordered from amazon several times and items generally arrive promptly.deafjam wrote:Any updates?

We did the full treatment with erythromycin and there is still is no change in Bruce's eyes. He does appear to be coming out of hiding more often and seems well balanced, but he is skinny and, as I said, his eyes still look as though they are 'covered'.
Not sure where to go from here...

Been awhile - I thought I would give an update.
We still have three loaches happy and thriving. We are going on one year now without symptoms.
I still wonder what the heck happened to the others. Though, I am so thankful our remaining three are heathy and happy. What happened to the others remains an unanswered question. I doubt I will ever stop thinking about what the cause was.
I just wanted to give an update on our other loaches - they are doing wonderfully - adorable as ever!
