Perfect, thank you I will look into all of this. I am quite liking the idea of a powerful internal filter combined with a powerhead for this shape and size of tank.

Re: Powerhead for Roma 200L
After some experimenting I use only Aquaclear powerheads. Other, admittedly similarly cheap brands were noisy with vibrations and suffered from short life and sticking when switched off for tank maintenance. Aquaclear seem free of these problems. Thanks for the recommendation. Since making the post...

Can anyone recommend a powerhead that will produce good flow at the top of the tank please? Dimensions are 100cm x 40cm x 55cm. I have absolutely no idea of where to start with powerhea...

How much to feed please?
Hi, I have 6 Sewellia lineolata and I am really struggling with how much to feed them. There is a small surplus of brown algae in the tank which seems to be running down. I have frozen bloodworm and artemia, mini algae wafers, repashy soilant green and fluval bug bites. They have eaten all of these ...

Re: Why do you like loaches?
Hard to explain, their faces are all very cute and I love their overall shape. I think the shape of an animal makes it incredibly cute to me. I'm not that interested in mammals for that reason.

I'm new! Hi!
Hello, anyone still around? I miss forum life! I love this website so much, I've always had an affinity for certain loaches but I got my first group Sewellia lineolata a couple of weeks ago and I've learnt so much about other loach species as a result. Now I am addicted! No doubt I'll be asking for ...
