Congratulations Jim, I have been searching for new Cheni in the UK for months now with no luck. Our last remaining Cheni died a few months back, the tank is just not the same without her. Considering how many we had at one point it seems shocking to realise they have all gone, such entertaining fish...

Hi Adrian,

I have seen what i believe were Homaloptera in a few local branches of Maidenhead Aquatics (Guildford and Woking). I can't confirm the ID but i think they might of had a mix of H. smithi and H. tweediei.

What kind of prepared foods are you giving them? I've never had any hillies pay even the slightest bit of attention to any food I put in there.
