I have never had an issue with ich since I started keeping clown loaches 5 years ago.

I keep the temps through the roof and never use any chemicals...even when doing water changes. Also, I have never worried about quarantining any fish. Everything goes straight into the tank from the store.

I may ...

Clown loach video

Thought I would post this up here. I have had most of these guys for about 5 years now.

The tank is a 220 gallon tank with a 55 gallon sump. Mixed in are some irian rainbows, an arowana, and a couple of yo yo loaches.

What size tank are they in right now? Impressive looking bunch you've got there!

They are mixed right now between a 180 and 150 gallon tank. And as soon as I get a stand and a filter built, some will be moving into a 220.

Neat photos. Are you using a remote flash above the water?

Yeah. I am ...

Awesome loaches, and awesome pics! They look happy and healthy- how many do you have, JD?

Around 25-35...they get hard to count after awhile. lol.

I have plans for a large indoor pond for them in the future. I would really like to try and replicate their breeding grounds in the wild...if I was ...

My oddball clown loach collection.

I have been lurking around here for months, but never have much to add since there is so much loach knowledge in these walls. :) So, I thought I would finally share some of my oddball patterned loaches. My favorite has to be my "V" loach.
