If you can manage to have contact with anyone who owns the fishing rights for the specific water, you can get permission to use a seine, it´s so much easier. Try the Lovö waterplant for a start.

Could they be artificially coloured? Like Emma wrote, it is weird if they loose the colour when they get old.
