On the matter of oxygen vs CO2 i will beg to differ. Thriwing plants will oxygenate the water to 100% saturation. Aearation or surface movement will not dissolve any more oxygen than this (but a trickle filter may, and it will not affect the CO2 levels either). This is easily proven by bubbles form...

No, as you say, 20 litres is way to small. They don't need massive tanks though - I'd say 15 - 20gal as an absolute minimum. As for groups, no, its not absolutely nessicary I would say, although we saw some pictures recently of S. Lineolata in their natural habitats and they did appear to congragate...

Both the pictures and some of the discriptions of the S. Albiseura in the PDF does'nt seem anything like our 'spotties' to me. Grey!?!?

Nice selection he's got there. The only one that I know is definatley not R/T suitable is the undescribed 'Burma' species. I uploaded some pics 4 days ago. They went through ok, and a message came up after each one saying something like 'will be added after admin approval' or something - and they still have'nt appeared when I just checked. Should'nt usually take that long should it?
