There might be hope yet. We're still alive here. I got someting called Sera omnipur, which is a multipurpose medicine for freshwater fish. Don't have any tanks left so the fish is in a 10L bucket with an aquaball-filter. Started the treatment friday and it will take another 5 days for it to finish. ...

Yes its very skinny. No other hillstream look like that in the tank now. I have lost some earlier, all got very skinny but they didnt have the white on them. I´ve had no problems with the Sewelia in the same tank but the Gastromyzons body count goes up, this really sucks. I've speculated that it is ...

Haven't had any aditions in the tank in over 3 months. I caught this one, dont have any tank to keep it in, but dont think it will survive...

On every forum I've read concerning spawning Sewelias the first thing people see are the fry, not the eggs. So the question is how do you know they scatter the eggs in the stream as mentioned earlier? How do you know they don't "glue" the eggs to a surface you can't see, or some other spawning techn...

Small modifications done. Ive been looking into some pumps too, found some good possibilites. And while surfing the web I found this http://www.geocities.com/river_tank/ I started juggling with the thought of the idea of small waterfalls, similar to the ones in the url and it would raise the oxygen ...

Ok, now we're getting somewhere :) Thanks! This is supposed to represent a sheet of plastic or some other material that you can drill so that you can poke through outflow from the pump leaving the intake on the other side. This is possible, I already have an idea what to use. I think I'll make the i...

Planning a new hillstreamtank
I'm making some plans for a new tank for my hillstream's. Has anyone tried a similar setup? And could this work? Heres a sketch of the top view. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/janma666/stream.jpg So all the technique would be hidden behind a fake wall, would probably put a similar rock backro...
