The tank has now been assimilated by hillstreams :D. 1 new powerhead and the total current is now ~2550 l/h. Plants have made room for more stones. I have a blueprint in my head for a new tank where all filter/heaters/powerheads are hidden, but that maybe a project for 2008. http://i4.photobucket.co...

Beautiful fish. You wouldn't have any pics of Sewellia eggs? Reason I'm asking is if someday I would be so lucky to get my own to spawn I could then spot the eggs and collect them before the Rineloricaria sp. decide to eat them.

The background is from the local petshop, 15€. I was actually going to leave the rest of the plants, was planning on letting the Pogostemon helferi take over the whole bottom. It's actually a very good plant for this kind of setup.

Heres one good new picture I took today and two with a view of tanks "hillstream-side". Actually the hillstream is slowly taking over, plants have left the building and rocks are checking in  http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/janma666/IMGP3457-1.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/jan...

So do all hillstream do this or only P. Cheni's?

Pics of unkown Gastromyzons

Finally after some small setbacks that ended well I´ve had time to take some pictures of the new hillstrams. Here are some, I really like the small one with very dark colours (3rd pic), looks very nice when it flashes the orange tail. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/janma666/IMGP3256-1.jpg htt...
