Two of my new hillies seem to have something that looks like skin being shed, both have it on the right side of their head. Heres two pics (not the best). http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/janma666/IMGP3139-1.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y129/janma666/IMGP3149-1.jpg Is this an injury or ...

Some of the 5 look like these. But very hard to get good quality shots, I´m not good at sneaking up on them and the camera has to focus  But hopefully they will be as brave as the ocellatus I have, which wont even move when cleaning the tank

And I was wondering if theres room for 7 of these in my tank or will it be too crowded? Here is the setup now: 7 Sewellia lineolata , 7 Gastromyzon ocellatus , 9 Parotocinclus ju...

I use sandblasting sand, size 0,6-1,2mm. Washed it well first cause its quite dusty. Very cheap.

Never even seen a Vaillantella maassi from any direction. Looks like a very fascinating fish you got there, nice.

Shari: I use firefox too and it works perfect. I like picasa because the simple tools (which work), web album and how easy you can email pictures.

I recommend combining picasa and picasa web album. And to top it a gmail account and voilá, you got the easiest way to send and share pics. If its not the thing you want then theres photobucket, but still picasa is the way to go ;)

Sewellias arrived today and the days that follow (pictures)

These are absolutely fabulous, only seen on pics so far and live they are even more amazing. Another thing that surprised me is how much bigger they were compared to my occelatus , though the mouth is so tiny. I need some help with the male:female ratio, don´t trust my own judgement, so here´s a pic...
