Hi bgloyn,
Did you want to part with of all of them at the same time? I'd like to take some but since I'll be upgrading to a 6ft tank in december, that means they might be a bit crowded in a 4ft long 65G with my 5 clowns. Would you say they are mostly closer to 4.5" or 2"? Just trying to get an ...

Horse Face Loach of Longnose??
Hey everyone, just hoping you could shed a little light on my new Horse-faced loaches. I bought them at my LFS for 3.49 each, which I thought was a good deal, though they are small.
Anyway, I got them home and expected them to dig under the sand and never see them again but they are all still (2 ...

Thanks so much for you help, Shari.
The process is underway and I'll let you know how it all progresses. They are all looking quite ill and the largest one looks like he's barely hanging on. I found one of my smaller ones dead when I started the water change so who knows how it'll go.

I use Silica sand and am quite happy with it as a substrate. the only think I can say that might be a negative is that it does reflect a lot of light and that might spook the clowns since they prefer more subdued lighting. This isn't fact, though, it's just a guess (though it is a fact that white ...

Little help please? **PICS**
Hi everyone, I was hoping that you all could chime in about my sick Clowns. I have been treating for Ich and am on the 6th day of treatment. I've lost one of my small guys already and also a Black Phantom tetra.
My problem is that it may look like something else as well. It was definately Ich to ...

Levimasole for Canadians?
Anyone have any idea where to get Levamisole in Canada? I'm in Kingston, Ontario and nobody I speak to seems to have the foggiest idea what I'm talking about. Farm feed stores, vets....what am I missing? is it just not that available in Canada?
Alternatively, I picked up some Erythromycin gel at ...

Hi Marita,
Are you sure it's Velvet disease? It may be possible that it's "Ich" instead of Velvet. Ich produces larger (but still tiny) cysts on the fish whereas Velvet is more powdery(or velvety?). Here's a link with a description and pictures for both (and many others). If you are still unsure ...
