I would like to add some sewellia lineolata in this tank but am afraid of overcrowding. Oh, and there might be...

I had the same problems with my Gastromyzons when I first got them (about a month ago). But after a while they have become little pigs, fighting over the algae wafers.

Gastromyzon in 10 gallon...

Hey everyone, just wondering if my two Gastromyzons will still be happy in a 10 gallon tank with 5 danio chopraes as I'm planning to make their current 18 gallon tank to a small nano-reef tank. In the ten gallon there will be bogwood, gravel, 2 50gph powerheads, and a large air wand. Oh, and since I...

My other one now finally decided to try it after watching my other one eating happily. They both are now fat with spirulina discs  . But I noticed that they tend to only eat when the disc has been in the water for over a day. I'll try the brine shrimp again later today as I heard that they aren...

I was so releived, but it was only one of the two so still gotta wait for the other one to come down and try the food. But h...

New to the hillstream (sucker) loach, want to know which one

Hey everyone, I'm now obsessed about hillstream loaches (the sucker type) and currently have 2 Gastromyzons, do you have any suggestions on a different colorful small hillstream loach (sucker type) that maybe I might be able to try that wil readlity take prepared food, small, and is easy to keep?

I have two of them right now. I think I might be able to get some more in the store if they still have them. About how small would they have to be to be juveniles?

Well, I think all of the algae is gone now, they are still searching enthusiastically for food but still won't take the algae wafers.

Yeah, that's why I don't know what it is, I checked the loach index on loaches.com but it wasn't there either.
