I only use it for removing meds. :)

Since I don't use it, my water is colored with tannins, but that's ok with me (and my fish ;) )

Hi Thomas, I keep around 30 pangios (oblonga and striped) in a 75 gallon aquarium. The only filtration that I have on this tank is a RenaXP3 which is rated at 350g/h. Previously, I kept all of them in a 30 gallon tank (36") with only a sponge filter and two corner box filters (air-driven) for filtra...

Once again, I have to say that I LOVE your cave. I just have to try this. I have around thirty pangios in my 75 gallon, but I just don't get to view them as often as I would like. Your shelf would be such an improvement to my tank.

Thanks for sharing. :)

I use a basket like this one in my penguin350. I use two of them, actually. :) http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=marineland+filter+refillable+cartridge&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=12391489676808566302&ei=wazaTLCRNIOBlAe2ppSuCQ&sa=X&oi=product_cat...

Loaches do lots of weird things to make their owners go crazy!!

I've never witnessed such behavior, but it sounds fascinating.

Enjoy your funny loach!! Just wait till he has friends....then the party really begins!

When I got home last evening, I discovered that the male had abandoned his post. He was no longer guarding his young, and the female was trying valiantly to keep her family together. The number of fry had gone from around 50 to just twelve in a matter of hours. This morning, the male was actively hu...

Angelfish fry in my 75 gal. community tank

After two unsuccessful attempts, my angelfish have decided that their eggs are not their food and are raising fry in my 75 gallon community tank. They are delightful to watch as they fiercely defend their young. I'm not sure how many will make it since there are so many predators in the tank, such a...
