do you have to soften the cucumber or fruit before you put it in? If so what methods do you use? I haven't fed my loaches anything except the occasional peas and I think I'd like to try some other stuff to see if they'd like it.

Both of those fish are Chinese Algae Eaters, 1 is like 6" and the other about 3" other than age and size they are identical fish

Here in B.C the only place I've seen the Kubotai is Petland and they were $24.99 for 1" specimens last year. They've since lowered the price to $12.99 for the 1" and $18.99 I believe for the 2". When I bought them they came from a mis-labeled tank and I paid $3.98 for the both of them on a 2 for 1 ...
