Oh thanks for the input. Nice to know about the White Clouds, I'll make sure to avoid them then if the temp is too high. I had a feeling the barbs might be an issue, but re-homing them won't be an option unfortunately. I'm kind of attached to them and the wife for sure would not be happy at all with...

Thanks for the reply Emma. Yes i was afraid that the Sids might end up Barb-snacks but thought maybe since the Ottos have been fine, but i really don't want to risk it so i won't be going that direction. As for B. Dario i've been checking locally for a while without any luck, but i will keep looking...

Alright i've got a 75 gal planted tank, Rena Filstar XP3 (allegedly 350 gph) filter and currently residing within after over a year in operation is: 4 Botia Dario, 11 Tiger Barbs, 1 RTS, 3 Ottos, & 1 Bristlenosed pleco.
