Thanks for the reply Krista, I did read the sticky about ick and thats pretty much what I've been going by. I've already done everything the sticky says to do and it specifically mentions use of the Quick Cure med that I'm using too. So, I don't know, I'm just going to keep on medicating and doing w...

The fight goes on, Please help!!!

I recently had a battle with Ick in my tank. Yestrday I declared victory and today I noticed one of my Loaches breathing very fast and he's not swimming around with his pards anymore. So I gave another dose of Quick Cure to the tank. This Loach isn't the one which I saw the Ick on originally. I've a...

That is an awesome picture. I had never seen Hillstreams until recently on this site. Yours are very beautiful and interesting. I like the way they blend into the aquascape.
Do you find them very difficult to keep?
Would you say some might fit in with a some Clowns and Silver Dollars?

Thanks for the"Dealing with Ick" write up.

Mark from Vancouver , I just wanted to thank you for the info. on "Dealing with Ick". Your advice proved to be very helpful. All signs of Ick seem to have diminished from my tank and I owe it to you and your document. My tank didn't suffer any casualties. :D Today I will do my last 50% water change ...

Clown Loaches love all kinds of treats, I give mine carnivour catfich pellets and they go nuts. Blood worms are also a favorite mine do't seem to picky. I've heard peas are a sure bet but I have never tried them.

My biggest Loach has Ick! :(

I was just looking at my fish and I noticed some very small white spots on my biggest Clown Loach. He's in there with 3 others , 7 gorgeous Silver Dollars and a Pictus Cat. The one Clown is the only one showing any sign of Ick. I was hoping it was just some air bubbles but it's not it's my worst nig...
