I've used sand from work. I think its called "Lapis Luster". It's natural colored, and my loach doesnt seem to "pale" out. Three 50 LB bags for free... cant complain

So i bought 2 Schistura cf. balteata at Wal-Mart, were the employees thought they were baby pictus cats??? Any ways, i have them in a 40 Gal. tank all by themselves. I joined this Loaches Forum to find out what these guys were, and after looking around this site, i've decided to set up a loach tank....

Thats one thing you and i agree on. Wal-Mart isn't well known for their healthy fish . But if all the fish look healthy in the tank i will but them, and then put em' in my 20 Gal. quarantine tank. My LPS has some pretty weird fish sometimes. Thats were i bought my African Tigerfish.
