No, it's not. First of all, crushed corals appear too rough for the clown loaches to be used as a substrate. Second, it has calcium carbonate that will increase the pH and KH of the water chemistry which the clown loaches may not be able to tolerate long-term even if they are able to adapt to it. Yo...

Actually they are. I trust Piggy to suggest them.;) My Crossocheilus siamensis often roam around the surface and middle levels waiting for me to feed them.

I wonder why my Syncrossus helodes seem to pester only themselves despite being mixed with the Y. modesta and several barbs. Nasty brats though the way they bite your hand when you wave around frozen foods.lol
