I am down to 4 danios and a cory. I thought of something yesterday. When I first started the 29 I put my filter and slate in the dishwasher because it wasn't used for about 10 years. I don't remember if there was soap in it or not. I had a lot going on the day I first started it back up. I am not go...

I lost the sharks, neons, and a clown since yesterday in the hospital tank. I also lost a khuli in the 29 gallon. The clown didn't look sick before I left for work he was eating this morning. The cory cat hasn't eaten since he was taken out of the 90 he seems to have red splotches on him. Maybe he a...

A update on my tank. I went and got another tank for quarantine. I bought some antibiotics as well. Already the shark with the sreaks looks better. My other shark just died as I was typing this. He probably couldn't handle the temp or the ick cure. So now I have left from the 90 1 neon tetra, 2 clow...

I am going to try rasing the temp a few more degrees sadly the knife died. I really can't beleive this. He seemed fine yesterday. I found him when I was cleaning. He was covered with spots worse than anything I have seen in my tank. I am not going to get any more fish till I can at least make it a c...

Now one of my danios has a single spot on him. I only had enough ich stuff for a half dose. I have to get up to the store in the morning. The danio keeps bouncing off the plants. Im not sure if the ich treatment is doing anything or not. The active ingredient is victoria green. I don't think I shoul...

Yes the fish that had the ich was in my 90. I didn't expect the fish to die. It only had a few spots total on it. they were all on its fins none I could see on its body. Luckily none of the other fish seem to show any signs of ich. They danios in the tank were the first thing to act funny though. Tw...

I just looked in my tank and I appear to have a egg on one of my plants. Its about the size of a grain of rice. Maybe from the danios I started the tank with? Might be from snails but I have only seen one in there and I think the clowns may have eaten it because it hasn't been seen since the clowns ...

best temp to treat ich?
I found out last night one of my clowns has ich. I started treating them with chems. On the bottle it says to raise the temp to 84-86 F. I just was wondering if it was ok to raise it this high with my 2 iredesent sharks and a ghost knife in the tank? If this is too high what should I raise it to? I ...

I put some of the water I took out of the 29 in the 90. I also bought some plants have no idea what kinds they are but they look cool. Figured I would try a few different ones and see what happens. I looked at a bunch of fish trying to see what I want in the future in the new tank. Besides the clown...
