When my clowns and yo yos were smaller, they did tend to pal around together as well as sleep together. However, now they have grown some and there is no or very little interaction. The clowns live together in one cave and each yo yo has it's own individual cave. This particular tank has about 5 bla...

They are 4+ on the clowns and about 6 on the Yo Yos. This is the first breeding. I had just moved the other male to another tank with smaller females the day before.

If I can catch the babies I'll move them to other tanks. Hopefully they won't come out of the cave for a week while I'm away.

Yo Yo and Clown Loaches

I've just had a ABN breed in one of my tanks containing both yo yos and clown loaches and I'm wondering if they will bother the babies since these are not really swiming like a guppy fry would. They would be on the bottom and clinging to items.

I checked on that one. Different body shape and no color in the tail.
He does have what appears to be also neon type gold spots near the base of his tail.

Shari has a point. The last time I had cory's lay eggs they were everywhere you could possibly imagine. I was lucky enough to have some on the front glass of the tank so I could watch the development of the eggs.

I would say the little guy is about 1 1/4 inches in size and since I've had it several months I doubt if it will grow anymore. It also added some girth to it's body but nothing like a kuhli does. It spends a lot of time atop the wood and has several crevices which it will dart into when frightened. ...

He's got to be in that family. He came in with the rosy loaches. They have a few more which I'll get when he has a chance to catch them.

Thanks

Thanks. I'm still trying to track down this little guy. I thought it might be that one but although they are similar there is a difference.

He looks somewhat like that but size wise he's no where near the size they get. I think he's just about full grown to be truthful.

He started out looking quite a bit like a female rosy but was still different. He's developed into this little chap. I would say 1 1/4 inches in length to 1 1/2 inch and as big around as a bic pen. He's in a tank with two plecos, a betta and 13 green neons which he is constantly chasing. He spends h...

I feed them Hikari Sinking Wafers, Bio Blend Wafers, Tetra Wafers, etc but this particular group was eating the Sinking Wafers as those seem to be the favorite. I put in about 3 to 4 a night and then skip a night every now and then. You'll see them out hunting the next day if I skip. The picture wit...
