Must be the season for BNs. I have about 40 7-day old fry.

My son and I have an agreement whereby when some of his rocks and wood gets too covered in algae for his Otto to cope with, it goes into my tank to get cleaned by my pair of BNs and the clean stuff from before goes into his tank.

House move complete - Mecca in sight!

Well, the house move is now complete and I am pleased to say that all inhabitants of the tank survived the trip.

I am also pleased to say that I now only live 30mins away from Loach Mecca (Emma's Shop) so will be making the trip there very soon indeed!

In your experience,

At what age/size do the clowns develop their 'stretch marks' where the black bands start to develop a light patch towards the centre. (A la 'Marge', 'Basil', 'Stripes' etc)

Just asking out of curiosity really, not because I've got any that are getting that big. Have to wait for ...

What pixel size is your monitor i.e. 1024 x 720 etc, Let me know and I'll send you a copy that should fit perfectly, (no stretching or distortion)

The light from the top is a flash or a fixed light?

Its a flashgun with a slave unit so it fires at the same time as the flash on the camera.

I need to work on removing the harsh shadows by diffusing the light a bit

Do you know the primary type of rock in that area that might be where the sand came from?
