i use neon tetras as dithers for my kuhli's... i find they look really pretty in the small tank and add alot more action to the tank, since it looked pretty empty before i got them... lots of people use barbs as dithers though...never had them before, but they are pretty too...don't use danio's thou...

how many kuhli's are you going to be adding to the tank? you should also consider adding some small dithers...i've found that they worked wonders in bringing my kuhli's out from hiding....i had a dojo in with them for some time and he made them go crazy, although i beleive the tank is probably too s...

i hope the big guy makes it...you said you added new guys to the cubs..that may be one big reason why he has calmed down, since the smaller guys have taken to his leadership he may not feel challanged by the second largest cub anymore....and i like the variation on the one that is missing it's horiz...

yucky.... i knew that they ate loaches... i think the soup is made of dojo, although the article doesn't say so, i read it on a different site before....clown loaches are also considered food in some cultures, and they are eaten (to my understanding) mostly when they are pretty big

not too many loaches will defend themselves against aggressive fish...they are shy creatures and genarally only fight amongst themselves...as far as i know...and there are hardly any loaches living in that low temp, the weather loach was probably the only one you'll find for that tank temp...sorry

i'd put them in with the clowns too...i only have 2 yo-yo's right now for the same reason and they tend to pick on each other alot, but they play together alot too...they seem to enjoy the company of the clowns and chase them around... i think it gives the smaller yoyo a break from being picked on, ...
