loaches grow slowly, right? i have a bigger tank already, that they will eventually be living in.... it's 80g.. not much bigger, but i have a lung fish so i'll probably have to upgrade the tanks a few more times, and i have no problem getting them a bigger tank when they need it... actually i can't ...

i love loaches, but if all you are lookin for are fish with elongated bodies, then there are also spiney eels, they are freshwater... they are a little bit picky and usually need live foods though... i am planning to put a few dojo in my 55g tank soon, but mine is 4' by 18" by 12 or so.. didn't real...

dude, if you love your fish you should just give them to the guy with the big tank... maybe he can't give you $$, but at least he can take good care of your fish
