Thanks Emma, Thats really interesting! They all look predominately like B. Rostrata but I can see a bit of all the "true" botia sp in them.

Regarding B. Kubotai,

My alpha Loach does have a favorite space and does have the propensity for staying sheltered rather than going exploring. It is gentle but in control.

Several of the other high ranking Kubs also have designated areas which they dominate and reside.

Loaches can take time to settle in. Small clowns can be a challenge to get started. Some people like to medicate straight away other like to wait. Firstly consider raising tempreture to about 30 C.
