Well I checked my water last night. Ammonia 0 Nitrites 0 Nitrates ~20ppm Nitrates are normally lower but I was out of town this past weekend and missed my normal water change. I'll continue to keep an eye on them. They'll be in the QT at least 2 more weeks until their permanent home is up and cycled.

Mike, thanks for all the info. Unfortunately I found out Sunday that I have family coming in that I only see once a year at most, so I've had to cancel the NY trip. I've bookmarked this thread though and may resurrect it in a few months when I have a chance to schedule the trip again.
