i am from northern new jersey. Absolutely Fish in Clifton, New Jersey has a great reputation. It has a HUGE selection of fish and a pretty good staff. Even if you are not going to buy, it is great to look around in this store. I also really like The Fish Tank in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. You can't g...

franksaquarium.com has them.

He is located on long island and i see you are as well. He makes appointments if you want to pick them up. All you have to do is set up a time with him by e-mail.

I can definitely recommend keeping various australian rainbows with your loaches. They are extremely beautiful, strong swimmers, and great fish to have. You could also have a nice school in a 55 in my opinion.

Many people also keep various barbs, danios, etc... with their loaches

thanks.
i think it may not be a dario though because the stripes seem too far apart and it doesnt have any of that yellow color.

I would lean more towards a histrionica that has not yet fully developed its markings.

But only time will tell i guess

very cool.

i saw maybe 12 of those the other day in one of my lfs. They were 5 inches long each and in maybe an 8 gallon holding tank. They were actually not killing each other as i would've expected, but still were quite active and fun to watch.

Don't acclimate them at all. Just float the bags about 10 minutes and let them out. They will be fine. Trust me. i hope that was a joke... i have never tried the drip method, i float the bags and add about a cup of tank water to the bag every 10-15 mins for 1 hour, then i just net them out of the b...
