Albert

Did you see? He's # 8 now. :) I have also discovered you can only vote every 24 hours, not specifically when a new day starts. Tanja

You're very welcome Tanja. 8) Up at the top of the page (any page) on the forum is this link: (nifty little open book in a circle here) "Loaches Online - Learn all about these aquarium fish!" Takes you to the main site. When you have the time, have a browse through the articles and art, and other l...

Vote

I voted. That Betta must be getting rigged voting. It's not even a clear photo. Martin. I was thinking the same thing. It isn't the best Betta there. Love that Bristlenose, but I voted for Albert and the Aulonocara baenschi. How did they get him to say "hey there!" :) Remember it is three votes per...

Skinny

Also, if the fish don't seem to respond to treatment with the Levamisole hydrochloride, we've recently had excellent results on some shipments of very skinny B. kubotai using Flubendazole. This was recommended to us by Shari & Mad Duff and has really done the trick. Rather than several doses, it is...

Clown

Thanks Kate,

I should have done a more thorough search. I will read very carefully. I don't even know they have skinny, but from all the reading it sounds like it. Thanks for taking the time to forward this to me. Tanja.

Tiny Clown Loach

I had 6 Clown loaches, but I have lost the smallest. I have 4 hefty, small (3-4") clown Loaches. When I bought my smallest clown loach (2") I bought two small (2") companions for him. The three hung out with my next smallest loach (3") and all was well. About 2 weeks ago I lost one of the small ones...

Sigh!

Thanks Emma, I will seperate the remaining two. Did they have problems with other species? I forgot if I asked you that already. I will reread the thread. The popular consensous is that they will only harm species like themselves? I am just srprised after keeping them so long. I wouldn't have kept 4...

Fish

the only fish that could cause that kind of damage imo is the croaker,do you know what species it is or better still a pic of the fish, that is the only fish that comes out at night and as you said you have not seen an attack on the fish. mick Hi Mick, Thanks so much for helping me. I just lost my ...

S. corica

Hi Mick, Thanks for replying. I have never had problems with these guys. I feel so bad, because I worry it is my fault. the 10 corica's that i got over a week ago have not shown any aggresion towards each other, just the occasional shunt. after reading about the decor more than the fish could be the...

S. corica

I have just realized something. When I introduced these fish, I had many caves for them to inhabit. I didn't have any problems. I've had them about a year without a problem. Recently I had an ick outbreak, and I removed almost every decoration, cave, . . . anything that could harbor the ick parasite...

S. corica

All sounds like good advice. I will certainly figure out where his new home will be. How is the aggression towards other species? Can I put him with really placid species? When they were younger, they lived with Horse Faced Loaches and Cories, and I never saw injuries on anyone. Thanks again for the...

Hurt S.corica

Hi, Thank you so much for replying so quickly. I added a few more pictures. Any idea about how he got hurt? I would place him in a quarantine tank that has some good hiding places. Hurt critters do not want to be out in the open like this. I don't know how he got hurt, however I do have other S. cor...
