Dojo Loach: Skin Infection?

As the title says, I've run into a problem with my Dojo Loach. :? Just behind his Top*dorsal* fin, and I can't believe I'm saying this, appears to me that there's a chunk of his olive skin missing....it is also very white where there's no skin. I can't begin to imagine what it is or how to treat it,...
