Yes! The only difference is my guy has yellow spots in his bands towards the tail. Probably just a pattern.
Thank you.

Kuhli ID?
Hey guys, Bought a Striped Kuhli Loach about a month ago to add to my collection of 10 striped kuhlis and 5 black kuhlis. Well I purchased him because he looked a little "different". At the time he was extremely skinny so I thought it could just be because of that but now he's filled out, an ideal w...

Hey Graeme, I went into Exotics last monday to talk to the boys and Kevin was like "One of your loachy friends came in and bought some rostratas and told me you recommended us! Thanks!" haha I thought it was funny :) Glad you managed to get some, they still have quite a few left. Have yet to get min...

For Brisbane Loach Fans
Thought I'd let you know my store is getting 50 clown loaches in today as well as some Saddleback Lizard Loaches (Homaloptera orthogoniata) and we've ordered some Hillstream Loaches but I don't think those will be coming. We also have Pakistanis, Striped and black Kuhlis and Dwarf Loaches. We are Pe...

I'm sure they are Rostrata. I have one myself and, while these are just babies, I can tell from the head shape and patterns. Be careful though because they have a few yoyos in with them. I have no problems buying them but can't get there til the weekend so leave me a few guys ;) They didn't have all...

Botia Rostrata in Australia?
I work in a petshop and about a month ago a Botia Rostrata was smuggled in with a shipment of pakistanis. I bought him and put him in my loach tank at home where he's been happy cruising around with the pakis ever since. I was told by a few fish shop owners (no one on here) that they were illegal in...

Anyone have a loachy christmas?
Bit of a late thread, I know but was curious if anyone got anything loach-related for christmas? My coworker (I work in a petshop) bought me a Kubotai Loach because he knew it was my alltime favourite loach that I never had any spare money to buy. "Henry" is now the prize of my tank :D What about th...

Very cloudy water
My 5ft tank has sand and very fine fine gravel as the substrate and it's always had a slight problem with loose bits of sand/gravel floating around but has never been too bad. Lately, the tank looks extremely cloudy from all the sand and gravel flying around. It is not an ammonia problem. I think it...
